Funky Chicken Hostel

|
Much like Bucharest itself, something seems to missing here. That something could be described as an amiable atmosphere or some key facilities, but the Funky Chicken hostel certainly has it's merits. Indisputably the best-situated hostel in town (less than 10 minutes from the train station), it's also the most convenient and cheapest place to check into (Ä8 a night). There's a small kitchen, a dining room, common room and outdoor terrace but they don't really conspire to make you return home raving about Romanian hospitality. The beds are hard, the walls are thin and there's a salient shortage of showers and toilets. Funky indeed. Instead of breakfast and internet access you get a bunch of bad puns and the promise of free cigarettes (classy). Simply put you get what you pay for, so pony up or chicken out. |
