Carturesti

|
This bookshop not far from piata Romana is truly a pleasure to be in and a sure-fire way to kill time on a rainy Romanian day. A small cafe and gallery bookends two floors of books, travel guides, compact disks (30-80 lei), DVDs (40-55 lei), cards, calendars and gifts. A great place to pick up CDs by local bands, Carturesti also has an extensive English language fiction and art book selection. The staff all speak English and are suspiciously helpful. Students with a valid ISIC card will enjoy a discount on their purchase. |
