European Comics Festival Makes Waves

The art of comics is currently enjoying a revival in Eastern Europe, highlighted by the latest edition of the European Comics Festival currently taking place in Bucharest.

Artists from across the continent have travelled to the city to showcase their works in the medium, including artists from Romania itself. A stylish post-industrial building in central Bucharest has been transformed into a contemporary meeting place, and it is here where the conferences, workshops, and exhibitions will take place.

Respected French artist Edmond Baudoin and Belgian Dominique Goblet will also attend.

The festival will take place from 3 to 22 November. Full details at the official website.
