Classical Meets Jazz Scheduled for May

An exciting performance is set to take place in Bucharest this spring with the Classical meets Jazz concert on 8 May. Internationally-acclaimed British violinist Nigel Kennedy will join Romanian pan flute player Damian Draghici in this one of a kind concert performing a wide variety of musical works.

Kennedy has a long history of collaborations and continues to experiment with his performances joining together the sounds of classical and jazz music in particular. The programme for the performance includes pieces by George Enescu, Maria Tanase, Grigoras Dinicu, Fanica Luca, and Georges Boulanger. The concert will take place on Constitutiei Square in central Bucharest with tickets starting at 90 RON (approximately 20 euro).
