Pictures of the Floating World Immerse yourself in the delicate and intimate world of Oriental art in this exhibition 'Pictures of the Floating World'. The exhibition features prints by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865), who produced some of the most exquisite and detailed portraits of Japanese women caught unawares in everyday domestic activities. Another part of the exhibition looks at artwork revealing the complex and intricate world of kabuki theater. Woodblock prints, which were popular with the Japanese in the 19th century, feature heavily as well.
