Cool Cat email

Cool Cat website

Walk in the unobtrusive entrance of Cool Cat to find yourself in a small, dingy dive bar smelling of dishwater. Head up the stairs into a smoky, low-lit den so covered in amateur graffiti that the entire room resembles a high school toilet stall. Flop down with your bohemian friends on the beanbagged floor. Commence drinking beer and snuck-in tuica (homemade Romanian moonshine) while tagging the wall and slowly sinking into the person next to you. Get regular dirty looks from the barmaid and hear the same remixes of popular songs replayed each hour. Lose all motivation to engage the outside world.

Heeey, I've been here! It is actually a really cool place and the tuica is fantastic!!! Me and my friends had a great time!

Despite how it sounds (and the regrettably corny name), Cool Cat is actually one of the best chill out spots in town. With so many new places opening around town that are desperate to be chic and trendy, Cool Cat is refreshingly neither. As unpretentious as they come, a visit to Cool Cat always begins as a casual meeting between friends and always seems to end as a belligerent sit-in, refusing to return to society. We like it.
